xdirectory won't allow me to admin

I am very new to xoops, one of the modules I am trying to set up is xdirectory 1.5 when i intalled it on my server i can not create categories , I can access the module from the front end but not the back.
XOOPS Version - XOOPS 2.3.2
PHP Version - 5.2.5
MySQL Version - 5.0.67-log
Server API Version - cgi-fcgi
OS Version - Linux


safe_mode - Off
register_globals - Off
magic_quotes_gpc - On
allow_url_fopen - On
fsockopen - On
allow_call_time_pass_reference - Off
post_max_size - 8M
max_input_time - 60
output_buffering -
max_execution_time - 30
memory_limit - 64M
file_uploads - On
upload_max_filesize - 8M
anything else that is need to know???
please help

admin>groups>webmaster>

check that the webmaster has been assigned module access rights.

I have a same problem
xDirectry do not work under PHP5
and i find no update or an other version
we need help !!!

I can moderate all the other modules , is there someplace to modify moderation of specific modules?

I'm using mx-directory under php 5 with the hack found here. Works great and is better (imho) than plain old x-directory.

ok i have swithed to mx directory and made the changes ,it seems to be working , where can I upload the new files so that others do not have to make the same changes?
