Has anyone got CBB 4.0rc Installed and Working?

I cannot get cbb 4.0rc( xoops-module-cbb-400-rc.tar)to install in xoops
2.3.1. After uploading it to my sites module folder all I get is a box with
a red X in it and no information, Like a corupt file. I have also tried the
zip version too.

CBB 4.0 is not yet to be used on production systems.
I think you should upgrade to 2.3.2a, because some CBB problems are corrected there.
Is this a new install of the forum module or an upgrade?
You did unpack the files before uploading them?

did you name the folder 'newbb'
