Mastop module cannot make a nice horizontal menu. It is very ugly a kind of a grid that appears in the page even if i played with the blocks..

What i want is a menu in the header nav bar.

Thank you in advance

No problem... you'll want to use trabis or burning's solutions adding to your theme.html header section. The theme you have chosen; lotr_v2, is old and not compatible with XOOPS 2.0.14 or newer block layout. There are some themes which look similiar (color, fonts, etc) which are compatible. Perhaps you could combine elements from the lotr theme with one of the newer ones including your horizontal header menu.

DBMAN thank you very much for your constant insights, I really like Lotr_v2, I have XOOPS 2.3.2a the theme is working fine for me, well, i don't know about newer block layout, i am completely new to this stuff. Thus, i don't know how to combine two themes

Your /themes/lotr_v2/theme.html has to be edited to incorporate the two code blocks from the article of Trabis on Xuups. Read it carefuly.
The first block has to be inserted after the first table, the one with the header:
<table cellspacing="0">
    <
tr id="header">
      <
td id="headerlogo"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>logo.jpg" alt="<{$xoops_pagetitle}>" border="0" />a>td>
      <
td id="headerimg">&nbsp;td>
    tr>
    <
tr>
      <
td id="Lheaderbar" colspan="2" align="center"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>onering.gif" alt="" />td>
    tr>
  table>

For the second block of code modify this piece of code (you find it a few lines lower):
<td id="leftcolumn">

        <{foreach
item=block from=$xoops_lblocks}>
          <{include
file="lotr_v2/theme_blockleft.html"}>
        <{/foreach}>

      td>
between the foreach tags. So, it looks the same as the example.

GHIA Thank you for making it clear for me, :) i succeeded i used MultiMenu and i can see the horizontal menu near the header at the left side.

Can you please tell me how to Center it? because now it is placed exactly above the Main Menu. It would look better if it is centered.

Also do you know how to change the menu color from gray to another color? and its text?

Thank you in advance
