I'm using the news module and would like to have active links in the articles I post. I have html enabled.
I've tried adding <html> tags, and using the code generator.
Firefox browsers will display and follow the tags as far as the current module, but not to the specific article, while IE doesn't even see the tagged text as a hyperlink. Here's an example of text in my news article:

Features of PatrolWorld.com include: <br>
<a href "/modules/extcal/year.php">Events Calendar</a> which allows individual patrols the ability to post events and special dates...

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you mean:

<a href="/modules/extcal/year.php">Events Calendar</a>

?

And maybe you should use an absolute url, no?

Neeevermiind. It appears you're not allowed to hard code html into the article. You can only add links and formatting through the editor buttons and dialog boxes.

Yes, you're allowed to do it. So there is something wrong with your configuration or your editor.

If you want, PM me your login/password (don't post it here) and I'll into it.
