News 1.62 question (The Scoop and Extended Text)

Is it possible to make some modification to news module so that on first page showing The Scoop and when user click on read more showing only Extended text (NO SCOOP), or this is something that should be modified in Editor?
Please if you know answer for this, help me.

You can open article.php around line 189:

$story['id'] = $storyid;
$story['posttime'] = formatTimestamp($article->published(),$dateformat);
$story['news_title'] = $article->title();
$story['title'] = $article->textlink().' : '.$article->title();
$story['topic_title'] = $article->textlink();


$story['text'] = ''; //change this line
$bodytext = $article->bodytext();
