I've just installed this hack, its just what I was looking for so thanks a lot!
But I have a few new problems
1. Newbb Blocks that are displayed outside the forum pages (eg homepage) do not have their URL's changed - how can I correct this?
2. My changed URLs still show the ugly old stuff after the title,, so like this:
forum/t/794/essay-writing/?&forum=28&post_id=3806#forumpost3806
Can i get rid of this last bit?
3. I use Xlanguage and the second language is chinese so the url shows both titles with langauge tags (but the chinese displays as gibberish), like this:
enhello-my-title-is-here-enzh%CA%D0%B3%A1%D1%A7%D7-zh
[en] and [zh] being the language tags. Is there any way i can correct this? If not I'll have to go back to the old ugly urls. Is there any way to tell the seo rewrite to just add the words that lie between the [en] tags? Or perhaps can i make it just add the first four words to the title? That way it might end up like this:
forum/t/794/enhello-my-title-is
Not perfetct but better than nothing
