Upgrade from XOOPS 2.0.13.1 to latest version

Hi there,

What is the upgrade path that I have to take to upgrade to the latest version? I'm not sure what upgrade to install and I don't want to mess up my website..

Current:
XOOPS 2.0.13.1
MyAlbum-P Version 2.84

Any help is highly appreciated!

The upgrade path for you is easy enough. You need to download the full 2.3.1 package and follow the instructions

A friend of mine upgraded from 2.0.13.2 at the weekend without problem.

As John said.

I also upgraded from 2.0.13 directly to 2.3 and then to 2.3.1
The only trouble I had was with some old themes which failed to display correctly. It just meant choosing a new one.

Many thanks for the info guys! I will give it a go in the next week and post the result. The server is running Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) Debian GNU/Linux PHP/4.1.2

This should be no problemo right?

Hi,

it is always a good idea to do a back up (both files and database) first!

If you can, do a mirror of your site on a sub domain or a test mashine with same/similar setup and experiment there.
