hello xoopsers.

I've tried to make my recent news block visible inside the right column of my website. At first it was visible but it was english so i've tried to change the name. When i changed the name the block dissapeared. is there a way to make it visible? if so can you tell me how?

i've tried to change the name back, didn't work. i've tried to make it visible in the left column. didn't work.

Two things to check:

1. That it is set to be visible (check in blocks admin)
2. That it is checked as available in groups admin.

Are you using the latest version of the module, i.e. 1.62?

1.56 visible in blocks
and it is available

as a webmaster i can't see it. and i have all availabilities and i can't see it. and it is visible in blocks admin

which template set are you using?
The default set, or have you created a clone set?

someone once told me that the first thing you should do if you want to start re-naming/changing blocks is to create a cloned set and work on them, that way the default blocks are always available should the cloned ones get messed up... sorry, that's not much help now, is it?

how about trying to clone a set now and see if the cloned block shows up...

i tried to reinstall the module and then tried recent news again. but didn't work. now i changed the name of random news. only recent news doesn't show up the rest of the blocks do show up. only recent news doesn't.

Solved. very simple needed to choose a category.
