Newbb: Smilies strip gone

Hi,

we've just upgraded our XOOPS installation to 2.0.18.1, along with newbb. In newbb, is there a way to get back the smilies strip that was below the editor? It is still visible in most other parts of the site (pms, etc), but not on the forum post editor.

Do you have still the same editor for NewBB? Some editors have a button in stead for the smilies like the one here on the forum.

Well, I have most of the available editors on the list (Extended DHTML form is the default - btw, anyway to get rid of the rest?).

I know about the button, but the strip was so much better (and faster) to add smilies... Any hack/help to get it back would be much appreciated.

Any ideas? I assume it was removed by choice. Any clues why?

What newbb version are you using? It might be an old version that might not work properly anymore with 2.0.18.1. You might need to update to another version, either the CBB 3.08 or newbbx

BTW - why didn't you update to 2.0.18.2?

Also how do I set "DHTML with xCode" as the default editor? I like having the YouTube button

Hmm, so you're saying that the strip problem might be because of old versions? I thought the missing strip was a deliberate omission. Thanks, I'll try upgrading then.

Btw, we're using 3.08. Aaaand, I guess this is cbb, right? (Although it appears on the address as newbb?)
