Joomla to XOOPS Converter

Our team site runs on Joomla for years. We would like to try on the XOOPS system. However, there are a lot of articles which must be accepted. Even the URL structure should remain. Is there a converter for the database and the template?

Welcome to the Xoops-community.

I have been looking after a converter too, but did't have any luck.
I don't think the URL structure can remain, and the converting of the database is not out-of-the box.

It demands a lot of testing etc.

All you need is to install eg XAMPP on your local machine.
Restore a backup copy of your Joomla site in it. Then install a fresh copy of XOOPS in a subdirectory and into the same database. The XOOPS table prefix will distinguish the tables.
From within phpmyadmin, you can now copy the information from Joomla tables to the XOOPS table by SQL statements.
An example for showing the working principles of how such a transformation could be done is in this French thread for converting from CBB3.08 to Newbbex.
