I love this Module but a problem I have is the description on the pictures gets erased when I want to "Edit pics". When I make one, or them all with description I can see them, but when I "Edit pics" I get the description fields is empty and when I update there's no description.. I really want this to work. Any help?

First I tried to use 1.1 RC version, and shifted to 2.03 and both have the same problem.

I have no problems with that on 2.02.

Maybe some files from the previous version are not written over or something was wrong during the upgrade.
If you are just testing, try to upload the module from scratch (deleting all the files in directory xcgal).
You may also check if your database tables are up to date and have all fields available by comparing the sql file with the actual tables in phpmyadmin.

I tried to do as you said, and still nothing worked. I am now using 2.2 and still have the same problem. And how to add the ImageMagick or somethint so I can also upload GIF?

It is possible that you have to update some files from (or the whole) xoopsform class for making the form work.
(you can take them from 2.3).

ImageMagick is to be installed to the hoster.

To enable upload of gif can be in adding a mimetype setting.

i'm using xcgal on a site i have on 2.0.16! I remember having a few probs myself till i combined the files of two versions of xcgal to make it work !! perhaps i could sent you the module and you can see if it works for you...let me know mate.
