i'm using this theme:
https://xoops.org/modules/extgallery/public-photo.php?photoId=550#photoNav

when i change links in theme.html, they dont change at all. For example, Artigos button on navbar remains as a link to smartsection module, insted of link to the news module. Even tough i have changed and saved my changes...

I simply dont understand... A little help here? :)

Did you clear the cache of your browser?
Are you sure you are editing the displayed theme?
Activate the system block that allows switching themes and go once back and forth to another theme.

Where is your site, so we can see it ourself.

well, clearing the system cache didnt help. and i'm not a totaln noob here, that's what bugs me. i know my html, and a bit of php. but php isnt even required here :S

and there is no need for me to switch between themes since i am using only one theme, whb_simple. i have even removed the default theme :(

is there anyone that knows about this stuff more than i do, and that is willing to take a minute of his time and try to change this and then explain it to me ?

Did you change the option:

"Check templates for modifications?"

to Yes?

Go to: Admin/Preferences/General Settings

Once you have everything working correctly, change it back to "No"
