Custom Blocks in Xoops 2.3.0 RC2

Hi again!

Have a new problem now. I have made two custom blocks and as a webmaster I can see them, but when I log out and act as a guest I can't see them.

I have checked the block-admin page and they only shows up if I choose Webmaster.

I have also checked the grouppermissions but can't find them there.

I'm confused. :)

Don't have 2.3.0 here, but if it's like 2.0.x then go to Groups Admin and check that the block is visible to each of the groups that you wish it to be.

Hi!

I can't find them in "edit group".

I checked: Guset, Registered and webmaster. No checkboxes for the two custom blocks that I made.

Webmaster works even if I can't find the custom blocks there.

There is a(nother) bug in XOOPS 2.3Rc2

This time in groups administration.
You have to edit line 75 in system/admin/groups/groupform.php

Search:
$blocks_module[$blocks_obj[$bid]->getVar('mid')][$blocks_obj[$bid]->getVar('bid')] = empty($title) ? $block->getVar("name") : $title;


Replace By:
$blocks_module[$blocks_obj[$bid]->getVar('mid')][$blocks_obj[$bid]->getVar('bid')] = empty($title) ? $blocks_obj[$bid]->getVar("name") : $title;

If you applied the fix then it should appear more check boxes for setting 'block access rights' in administration->groups.

Go there, click on "Modify" (after the group) and tell me what you see.

You are right, this is a(nother) bug and you will have to wait for a fix. Custom blocks are not displaying in groups administration.

I have the same problem! modify the file but visitors can not view the custom blocks. and is not an option for giving permits.
