Given the source of the module, I'm quite happy to upgrade from Protector 3.04 to the current beta version of Protector 3.16.......

......I'm sure that it will work well providing its compatable. Anyone using this combination?

TIA

I use it with 2.2.6, no problems except that users get an error ('security token') when they want to register or sent me a mail using the contact form, but I don't think this is related to Protector 3.16.

Thanks - I've installed it on my test site and am playing about with the filters - many more options to choose from. I'll see how things are for a couple of days before upgrading my main site.

I now have 4 files in my config directory.... index.html, group1 and badips files as before plus a new one - configcache. Do you have this?

I sure hope GIJOE comes back to supporting XOOPS from 2.3.0 onwards as his modules are excellent.

The only filters I use are:

- postcommon_post_deny_by_rbl.php: An anti-SPAM plugin.
All of Post from IP registered in RBL will be rejected.

- postcommon_post_deny_by_httpbl: (see Project HoneyPot, you need to register for using this filter)

I need to upgrade from Protector 3.04 to the most current version. Is upgrading from version 3.04 complicated or is it a simple process of uploading the new files and updating the module?

TIA,
