What is Mycomments Module ?
======================

With this XOOPS module, your users can keep a track of they recieved and sent comments.

The module can :
. display recieved comments by user
. display sent comments by user
. display the above per module
. include comments on your site search
. display a block with the last commented items (not last comments)
. etc

How to install Mycomments
====================

Copy mycomments folder into the /modules directory of your website. Then log in
to your site as administrator, go to System Admin > Modules, look for the Mycomments
icon in the list of uninstalled modules and click in the install icon. Follow
the directions in the screen and you'll be ready to go.

This module makes use of plugins. Without plugins there will be nothing to see.
Available plugins are located at mycomments/plugins.

Developing plugins
====================

Plugins are based on the "What's new" module plugins. With little effort you can adpat them to work with my comments.
If you are a module developer you can include your plugins under yourmodule/include/mycomments.plugin.php
The plugin should also work for modules that use XOOPS_TRUST_PATH.

You can send your plugin to lusopoemas@gmail.com if you want me to add it to mycomments/plugins folder.

Hi hervet,
I tested with XOOPS 2.3.0 Alpha 3 and I had to make some changes in the plugins because of deprecated methods.
It runs now without errors in XOOPS 2.3.0 Alpha 3, XOOPS 2.0.18 and ICMS (this ones I tested). I should be ok with XOOPS 2.2.x and XCL.
I tested all this in PHP5 but it will run with PHP4 to.

I'm your fan hervet, thank you for everything you have teach me even without knowing!

I have spent a few hours today around this and having in mind a possible use of mycomments to replace the actual 'in core' comments. I don´t know if the core developers have already started on this but I want to give it a try anyway.

So I have already moved all related comment files from the system module and core to mycomments and have it already working with pagination system for flat view.

Modules users/developers will be able to use mycomments system by changing a few lines of code to point to the new files.

As soon as I finished the pagination I´ll release it and then we can think on adding something else.

I joel, I have read that and took a note of everything but those are a lot of requests. For now I will reproduce the actual comment system and add the pagination, then we could go through the requests one by one.
