I am trying out a few Gallery's before deciding which one to go with. One thing I would like is an e card feature that works.

So far tried

extGallery I like this one but has a couple of quirky template dosplay problems which I am working on
Cannot get the e-card feature to work at all.

xcGallery.. Again I like, e-cards work using php mail.

But the way it display photo/images is puzzling me as I can't find any setting to change it.
They look like they have a sepia layer or something added to them. I would love to get rid of this and see a correctly displayed photo.

Any help on the above would be appreciated. or if you have experience of other Galleries

Hi Gordo,

Which version of xcgalley are you using? If you got it from the Module Repository then you are not using the latest version.

I use v2.0.3 which I got from the dev forge. I can let you have this (and a minor hack relating to keywords and uploading more than one picture) if you PM me with your email address.

You have a PM

Hi Gordo,

I'll send to you the module and answer your other (non-xoops!) queries when I get home from work this pm.

I'll try to get the module (and hack) into the repository this weekend (probably after the Cup Final!)

hi,
I am using Version 2.04 which is the latest I think. But it has no block to show images on the home page of the website. Any solution?

Solution not needed as the module already has the means. At least, v2.0.3 does and I doubt that this has been altered in the version you're using.

You can confiure the "meta albums" block to show things like latest uploads for example. You can also use the "scrolling thumbnails" block to show the pics in the albums.

I have both of these on the homepage of my site here:

Have I misunderstood what you want?
