Filling form fields via URL with liaise?

I am using the liaise module.
I wish to have a cpp program that on a click of a button it opens a webpage with a liaise form and fills the fields with details.
Is that possible?
How can I do this?
I understood I can do this with providing the data in the URL somehow.
Something like this:
http://www.url.com?field_value=test
Is it as simple as that? or do I need to do something additional?

Spammers are trying to do that

Captcha will prevent you from doing such thing.

Yes, captcha not solve, but help more and dificult actions spammers.

This has nothing to do with security as people still need to fill out the Captcha (if it runs on your site). This has to do with usability, you simply save people the pain of having to fill out a new form. If course it can still be cracked...

I don't have an easy answer though: you'll need to hack the module and add extra variables. These variables are the default contents of the input fields in Liaise. If you are not a programmer, you may consider finding a freelancer (I'm no programmer, I've never rented a freelancer so I cannot advise on this).
