I have copied XMail to my module folder.
I pressed the install icon, but it didn't install well.
So I pressed again, and it again didn't installed well.
So I have 2 badly installed modules of XMail.
I have delete the XMail folder from modules.
Then I pressed uninstall but I get: "There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed."

What should I do?

The uninstall procedure needs the module to be present. You have to upload the files again, then uninstall, then remove the files.

I have uploaded the file and it still doesn't work.
If I press the information button it says file not found.
The problem is that I have the module installed twice.

How did you manage to do that? hehe! Can you be more specific? What file is not found? What went wrong during the instalation?
Is theres a xoops_version.php in modules/XMail?

Yes there is a xoops_version.php file.
Is there a way to recover?
If I have some older DBBackup file, will it fix this?
I am using XOOPS DB Backup & restore, but I dont know how to load the gzp file.
In the info or credits I get:
"Module File for Not Found"

Probably there was only the entry on the modules table that was not deleted. You need to look into your database, table "modules", and manualy delete the entry corresponding to XMail. Also check xoops_version.php to see what tables correspond to XMail. If they still exist in your database then delete them to.

and if you are doing this all manually. make a note of what id number is assigned to that module and remove any blocks, template data in the database, permissions for that module. but.

using modules/xmail/xoops_version.php file would be easier. I would check the database table to see what info is set for that module like the dirname to make sure it is looking in the right spot. then chceking the xoops_version.php file to see if it has an onUninstall function. and then check what files the xoops_version.php file is including (possibly a file for the admin menu, the image file). and make it load up right and you can uninstall it.

Edit: I already managed to load the DB file.

I couldn't find any xmail entries in my sql databes.
There is a module entry, but pressing on it didn't give me any sub entries.
I also saw some other modules entries, so I thougt it should have been at the same "folder".
So I have deleted the whole public html and copied some backup I had.
Of course the modules are still there, so what I need to do now is to restore a .gzp backup file I have saved using XOOPS DB backup & restore.
How do I restore this file?
When I select restore from the backup module, I don't see any files to select in the drop down menu. (Of course I copied the backup file into the backup folder).
How do overwrite my backuped database?
I believe the best solution in these cases is to go back to your backup, so I better learn how to use this backup feature.
Please help me out. :)

My solution?
Simply restore your website to the last backup you made.
Luckily I made backup after installing protector and the likes, so I had less work to do from that point.
