yea alex i know of that message.
Nothing to worry about
There is a jquery in smartfaq that conflicts with jquery in yogurt

Both modules work perfectly so i just need to remove anything FAQ related from Yogurt pages.

Eitherway, can anyone tell me what to do since Xooops isnt saving my settings?
i keep changing my status from ALL groups to just WEBMASTER but im stuck on ALL group levels.

I even went into the Sql Database, found my user settings in there
made the change but i dont think thats all
Im missing somehting

help?

are you manually modifying the prefix_groups_user_link table? (links the user's id to the group ids they belong to.)

Hi Alex
thanks
i went into xoops_groups_users_link
i searched for USER ID of #1 ( or as it shows " uid 1 " in the column )
i goto EDIT that line /table
in the edit screen i changed uid value to 1

As far as i can see by even looking at the GROUPS table, the webmasters group is a value of " 1 "

This only put me to being on TWO GROUP levels
Webmasters & Antifm DJs

So i thought maybe a lower number?
i tried it. went back to xoops_groups_users_link
changed my level to " 0 " This made all my posts ANONYMOUS
....well thats not going to work now is it lol .....

I put myself back to user level " 1 "
and im back to TWO GROUP levels.

I wonder if its a conflicting # of the new group i created?
But all these settings have been runing the same and just fine for about a month now.
Either way.... its not saving my user settings.

I even tried removing the FAQ module and its tables just to make sure theres no conflict.

there should be more entries for your uid, if you are in more than one group.

Resized Image

my uid 1 is in group 1 and 2 (webmasters and registered users)

but that is quite a problem with the prefs not saving.

my uid is listed ONCE because i removed my self from other groups
its listed as being in group 1 as it should be (webmaster)
but my LINK id is showing a # of 837

well i dont know what happened here but the only way i was able to fix it was

create a NEW Administration level group
add myself and the other admin to it
remove ourselves from the current admin (Webmaster) group
and well thats about it
