Is there a hack to autoresize the avatar when i upload it (with f.ex. imagmagick)?

the XOOPS core does not have this feature

but in yogurt social network modulehttp://www.marcellobrandao.eti.br/modules/news/

you can upload a picture and it will be automatically-resize and you and your user can set this picture as avatar

sorry, but this is not an solution. there a tousand of applications which can autoresize a picture - but I need it in XOOPS 2.0.x - and the yogurt modul is not a solution. but thanks for the answer.

Hi bkohl,

I think you know how to limit the width and height of avatar from Site Preferences / User Info Settings, so users can upload avatars over your limits.

But If you want to autoresize it in special page, for example: userinfo.php, you can edit this file:

modules/system/templates/system_userinfo.html

and add width="120" to:

< img src="<{$user_avatarurl}>" alt="Avatar" />
