Good day,

there used to be an article on http://www.it-hq.org that explained in details how to implement phpads into XOOPS theme.

Does anyone know where i can find that article or a similar article?

Looking at using phpads in my XOOPS development.

Hope to hear from anyone soon.

Can i use the same instrutions in adding a phpads in my News1.44 module (http://www.iis-aid.com/articles/how_to_guides/implementing_phpadsnew_into_your_xoops_site?page=0%2C2)

Does it work with News1.44 also?

Yes it should work with News 1.44 or any other module.
After you setup phpadsnew and generate the innovation code in phpadsnew you insert that code where you want that specific banner zone to show.
You can create as many zones as you require.

The new release called OpenX which is the new version still has a few bugs to be worked out. I would suggest you try Openads 2.0.11 found here Openads 2.0.11
That is the version i have been using and it works great!

I am actually not the best a coding and all.

if it will not take too much of your time, can you please tell me which file in the new1.44 to edit (is it news_article.html) and where do i paste the code, because i do not see the same codes as indicated in the tutorials on http://www.iis-aid.com/articles/how_to_guides/implementing_phpadsnew_into_your_xoops_site?page=0%2C2

good day,

on the issues of implementing advert blocks in the middle on New1.44 module, can any one give me a tutorial on how to implement it?

I have tried and messed around with the above mentioned links but to not avail.

I will really want to implement PHPADS or any other form of Banner adverts in the middle of a news story for users to have a break before continuing to read news stories.

Urgent help is really needed and will be greately appreciated.
