Turned my site off...can't access it anymore

I turned my website off in the administration section which displayed a message that goes like this "The site is currently closed for maintenance. Please come back later.
Design by : XooFoo - XOOPS French Communauty" I've tried ...user.php to login, but it doesn't seem to work. Please help me out!!

Have you the "Protector" module instaled?

Do you have acess to phpmyadmin (or other software) in you hosting control panel, that can edit database directly?
