simplified URL problem, please help

I recently switched dedicated servers. Prior to switching servers the simplified url hack worked well.. now it works only when im not logged in. On certain pages such as news posts or video pages I get blank pages...

can anyone help me out here?

1st of all
how did you get the simplified URLS to work anyway?
i kept trying and trying using the article posted on that ladies website

create an htaccess file with " something something" written inside
then a folder
then a .php file placed into that folder

bla bla

the only thing mine would says is
"This is my page"
but it would never actually call the template file

Forgive my English!

I have the same problem with news, forums and other modules. I entered in the file htaccess lines of code right and the link in the file loadpage.php but does not work always gives me blank pages. Help me please?
