CBB blank pages?

Trying to find a forum software that will work and am getting no where fast. I installed the new CBB with the frameworks and editor and when I attempt to view the index or test posts it just loads a blank page.

I am getting desperate here to get some sort of forum up and running on my site.

did you read and do the installation base on the instruction?
make sure all files are uploaded completely in the correct places.

for any blank page please turn on php debug

Yes I did or I thought I did. I opened the readme files in all three of the modules, the CBB and the two it said I needed in addition (frameworks and editor). I uploaded to the places it said to upload them. There were a few files in each that were skipped but I wrote them down and went back and did them individually.

I don't have 'php debugging', I have:
enable debugging inline
enable debugging popup
smarty template debugging

So I picked inline.

php debugging is the old name for : debugging inline (both php and MySQL debugging are displayed at the bottom of your webpage).

you seems to have a problem with the Frameworks package.

The "XoopsLocal" function is initialized here :
Frameworks\art\functions.locale.php

line 20
function xoops_local($func)


So are you sure to have well installed the Frameworks package ?
Could you verify the location of the Frameworks ?

He also has to make sure that he's got the latest Framework

I had one time problems because I didn't upgrade the Framework...

I'm a girl first of all ;)

I downloaded the newest version last night or the newest I could find 3 something, I'm at work so I don't remember off the top of my head.

I installed it to my XOOPS folder which is the root of my XOOPS install. Due to other software being installed I could not install XOOPS at the root of my server. So Frameworks is installed at the same level as mainfile.php, index.php, header.php, footer.php, favicon.php

Frameworks readme:

I don't know what all of this stuff means. My site is in english so do I disregard this section?? It's not really clear what I am supposed to be doing.

i can only suggest that you run the md5 checksum scripts to confirm that all of the files in Frameworks and class/xoopseditor are there.

md5 checksum scripts???

I have 3 times now performed an upload of the files in Frameworks. I believe I did the xoopseditor 2 times but I will happily run the script if you will tell me where to find it and if it comes with instructions.
