Hi all,

I hope someone out there with some experience with Formulaire might be able to advise me on this problem.

I am using formulaire 3.33 to set up some forms that I want to use to allow my users to submit information. It is installed on a site running XOOPS 2.0.13 (I know I need to update it), php 5.25, mySQL 5.0.45.

When I set up forms then set permissions for the forms, only webmasters can see the forms in the menu block. If logged in as a registered user you can't access the forms. I see the block heading but no forms listed. Also, I cannot access them using the complete URL to the form(s).

One thing that has puzzled me is that the docs say that you have to set the uploads folder to 777, but there doesn't seem to be an uploads folder installed with the module.

It appears that permissions are not being set correctly. Any advice on this?

Thanks,

Barry Cooper

you must create an anounymous group in the formulaire database, so works the form by me.

Re: Problem with Formulaire permissions

FYI: post

Formulaire * Talk:Formulaire

If the maker of each module will provide the current information on the wiki page and links to any relevant discussions it would help us ALL help those in need of relevant information to their modules.

The wiki makes more sense because it can be updated by anyone at anytime and does not require any special permissions to maintain.

My opinion only, of course...

BS,

Would it be possible to provide a short custom-block of text to display at the top of the Forums pages containing the info that you keep posting?

It would save you a job and would stop technical threads getting derailed with posts about the wiki.

Many thanks

Re: Problem with Formulaire permissions

EDIT: confused Formulize with Formulaire ~ permissions proably handled differently.

My mistake.
