Hello dear XOOPS users. I'm new in php, in xoops.
I must do page of my school, but, I don't know much things. How to add download, and other... I hope, you can help me a bit, so I please for a beginner tutorial :P like "First, sit down on chair, and click mouse" :P If there any tutorials on page, then - sorry, I can't find them. Then please link, or tutorial "first sit...." :PPP

Idea for a getting started page.

After you read that it will give you an idea of what your first page may tell your readers. Of course, you will adjust it according to what you would like to have there.

Above is the newest version of XOOPS with no other modules installed. I used the center block to put my links into. (all these links are html visual presentation of what the XOOPS administration panel looks like for different operations) Nothing to be afraid of, it's very user friendly.

So step one is to install XOOPS 2.0.18

TO Install:
Xoops 2.0.18 zip file

I use Winzip, going to the very top file menu...
Select - ACTION | Select ALL | Extract

To your desktop

So if you have some pocket money, and want a nice "keeper" manual, these aren't bad. They all get a little dated trying to keep up with versions, but in general they are pretty acurate.
