I currently have XOOPS installed on one of my sites and need to move it to a subdomain (www.subname.mysite.com).

What are all the files that I need to edit to get this done?

Next, I need to reinstall another version of XOOPS in the main domain, will this cause any problems, example

current XOOPS install will move and remain on (www.subname.mysite.com)

fresh 2nd copy of XOOPS install will go on (www.mysite.com)

Lastly, will there be any complications with running 2.2.x on one and 2.0.x on the other?

Thanks for the help. I just wanna make this transition quick and painless as possible, lol.

Moving a site is as simple as moving the file structure and editing the mainfile.php to reflect the new physical and virtual location of the site.

Installing a fresh copy, even if it is a different version of XOOPS in a different directory will not cause any problems as long as the two do not share the same database.
