newbie question

my user recently asked me
she had upload an avatar but now she don't want to use any avatar at all anymore..

i remove it manually in phpmyadmin and replace with blank.gif

is there any way of user to remove their own avatar and use no avatar at all

Yes.

The user logs in to your site. Then clicks on View Account in the User Menu. At the top they click on Avatar and they can select None from the drop down list then submit and it will get rid of their avatar, or they can change it to a different one too, themselves.

thank you..

i tried in several accounts i selected none then submit but the avatar is not updated eventhough i received the message "your profile is updated...."

i've cleared cache, templates c and updated system module no changed...i've check in phpmyadmin the avatar is still the same

but when using the custom avatar upload ..avatar is updated

turning on debug no problem

php 5...xoops 2.0171
