Hey all , i running XOOPS 2.0.17.1 and the forum module is CBB 3.08, i have noticed that most of the images have some kind of pop up routine ,when when you click on an image it pops up in a new window

I find this incrdibely irritating and it gets in the way of thumbnailing images in the forum

(IE: using a smaller image to link to the larger one )

also when i add an image to the forum it automatically brings up a script width size imput box , which is defaulted to 300
this too is i feel annoying

what can i do to make it back to normal , where as it just shows the image and no size thing and no default pop into a new window












if you click this it pops up, instead of just sitting there nicely :)
also as you can see it does not show line breaks , so the whole layout of the post is not correct, this text should have been below the images but its at the side


whereas this pic below should just display the thumb nail with and when clicked go to the larger images thats linked




but all it shows is the thumbnailed image again instead, although the code should make it link to the large image




one more thing , why doesnt it show the image when you preview the forum post , it just shows the code instead

you can define min/max minimums for making thumbs/popups in cbb preferences.

i want to either fix it or get rid of it to be3 honest
as its screwing the alignment up and pretty much ruinng the way the forum should work

do you have media features enabled in preferences?

I have tested it with media features enabled & disabled
the only differance that makes is that an attached image is not shown in thread

It does not stop that CaricaFoto poping up a image
myself i cannot see the advantage of popping up an image to the same size in an external page just because its in a post,
anyone know how to disable it altogether? because it ruins everything in my view and a complete waste of time and causing more problems then it's worth

you can disable it by going into your cbb preferences and setting the values for thumbnail creation to 0 or leave blank.

However, anyone uploads a big image your theme is going to break.

i actually fixed it by editing the textsanitizer config.php
and changing it to 0 from 1
backed up my config.php first though :P



define('EXTCODE_ENABLE_IMAGE_CLICKABLE', 0);

seems to work fine now ..woot !

and now when i click a linked image it actually displays the image instead of the same thumbnailed one the link was in :)
