Hello all

I have moved my XOOPS installation to a new server and am having trouble accessing the "content" and "tiny content" modules. Clicking on a link to either module gives the following error: "Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete".

In addition, the admin links to add/edit content in both modules seem to be disabled. Clicking on them produced no effect.

Other modules; Liaise, Downloads +, WF-Links work fine.

Any ideas how I could resolve this issue?

thanks in advance. A system overview is below:

Website URL:
http://radha.strangefish.org

XOOPS Version:
XOOPS 2.2.3 Final

XOOPS Theme:

XOOPS Template Set:

PHP Version:

MySQL Version:

Server Software:

User's Browser:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9b1) Gecko/2007110903 Firefox/3.0b1

This page sheds some light on what might be happening, but I am not using an .htaccess file and am am accepting cookies from the domain.

Quote:
HTTP is the application-layer protocol that most web pages are transferred with. As part of the HTTP specification, servers can send redirects - an instruction that the browser should try to get the content from another URL. Because one URL could redirect to another and the other could redirect to the first, causing an infinite loop, a limit is placed on how many redirects can occur on one request. This preference controls that limit.

When the redirection limit is reached, you will get one of the following messages:

* The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete. Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site? NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.
* Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
* Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.

Lately with the php5, people some have been having an issue dealing with register_long_arrays being set to off by default.

You should turn on debugging to see if any errors appear in some of the other modules.
