Anyone had any luck with the Hidden Content Hack?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone got the new hidden content hack to work? I am using 2.0.17, followed the instructions to the letter, but still no luck. The instructions were originally in german, so I might not be getting them completely. Has anyone implemented this hack with success?

How could you modify that hack to display content for particular user groups? For example,I want to show a download link for members of a special group that I made, a new user group ID4. How do I only allow them to see the hidden content (the download link) and not the other user groups?
