I think you are talking about inserting an html table here, am I correct? (as opposed to adding a new table in the database).

I think the easiest way to add in this table would either be by using the blank page module, and then inserting an iframe in this module index page, which shows your application table (on whatever page that is displayed).

You can download this simple mod here:

http://xoopsexperts.com/modules/downloads/

(actually, you can just use the XOOPS Facebook module, but replace the url presently called in the iframe. You can easily rename the module as well, by simply renaming the module folder, and then renaming the module name in the xoops_version file in that folder)

Hope that works for you.

This module is just great, thank you!

How would it be possible to add in a "next page" navigation, so that users, when they are done looking at the first page of videos for that keyword, can look at the next ones (for that same keyword). The usual sort of page navigation that you often see at the bottom of the page. What's the easiest way to code this in?

Thanks,

jeffgr

Hi everyone,

I am using Wordpress for XOOPS on several of my sites, and am experiencing the same problem on all of them. I have installed a plugin into the WordPress module, called All-in-One SEO pack. This plugin allows you to enter a custom post title, description and meta tag for each blog post.

However, when you look at the code of each blog post page, you can see that the only meta information is that of the overriding site-wide theme. Any idea on how to get the custom metadata that I have entered for each post to display? Getting this feature to work is VERY important for the SEO capabilities of this module.

In my opinion, the ability to use WordPress as a XOOPS module is one of the most powerful features of Xoops. I usually use either one of these software or another when creating sites. If we can work out the kinks that remain with this module, we'll have a really powerful combination of content-management systems.

Thanks,

Jeffgr

Hi Guys,

I actually have posted threads in various places on how to rename modules, several times...here you go:

How I cloned the classifieds module:

(and I think the author of that module has written instructions for how to clone the module as well, somewhere)

Renaming XOOPS Modules

All I am doing in this thread is offering a service for people who don't want to do this themselves! :)

Here is my web site again, should work this time:

(first, my apologies if this post is not appropriate for the forums...it has never been clear to me where commercial posts are welcome here, if at all).

Ahem, with that over with... :)

I would like to let you know that I offer a service where I can rename your module folders to have the name of your choice. So, instead of "modules/liaise/" for example, you can have "modules/contactform" or whatever you like.

I can also create custom simple modules for you to use to display single pages of content within a module format.

"modules/resources" etc....whatever you want it to say.

My fees are very reasonable for this service, and depend on the module you want to rename, as each is different.

Please send me a PM if you would like to know more, or contact me at http://xoopsexperts.com.
