Are thier any instructions on how to port a mambo theme. I found one at this link theme that I really liked and was wondering if an easy way existed to port it into a XOOPS theme.

I don't know of any step by step instructions on how to convert themes from one CMS to another, but I do know that XOOPS is the easiest to port other designs to. All you have to do is look at the default theme for the main <{SMARTY}> variables. Those variables are what output the data.

What I've done for clients in the past was to do a "save as" in my browser on their site (fully rendered design without the CMS specific variables), then I just cleared out the content data and replaced it with the XOOPS variables.

I think a few of the good designers have done some tutorials on this. In fact, Will_H just did a slicing guide. The Anatomy of the default theme will be helpful as well.
