Does anyone know how to disable the email link when no email exists for a memeber of the alumni. Currently you can click on the Email link and attempt to send a message to someone that has no email listed but after a few minutes it fails to send. It would be a lot better if the link was inactive when no email was available.

In the alumni module I am able to control the sorting of the school, does anyone know a way to control the osrting of the students that are listed as alumni?

The host of my site killed everything I had, I want to know if I upload my files and then create a new database and load it with the original data how do I get xoop’s to use the new database? The location and the name of the database will be different because the naming rules on the new host.

ability to send email without showing the receiver email

I thought I saw a module that could do this I juts can not remeber what it was called. Basically a member can send mail to another member without ever knowing each others personal email. I do not want to just use the internal email inside of xoops, I want it to send it to the other member with only the memberss name showing. If they want to check a box that says send my email address along that would be a nice and put the email in control of the owner.

I tried doing a search but but when you put the word email in your search criteria you get a lot of hits to topics that have nothing to do with this.

I know how to add a link to the template to have it show up in the main menu. Is it possible to make the link respect the access rights of webmaster, anonomous, registered users. I do not want people that are not registered to be able to click on the link and get to the page the url redirects them to.

Does a module exist already that I could install to force the entry of a captcha field when requesting contact through a contact form?

also loking for a special event registration where a captcha is required to register.

phpBB in xoops or port phpbb into another xoops module

I have installed 2.0.18 and I would like to know if it is possible to port phpBB into it somehow. If not what is the bulletin board of choice and is it possible to port the data into it?
