Hello fellow Xoopsers,

After 3 years online I have decided to close bassmanthemes.com. The domain is expiring in a month, and I won't be renewing it.

Why close down?
- I have been too busy with other things, including family.
- I can't keep up with all of the changes to xoops, both the product and the website.
- I'm tired of updating my site to try and stave off all the hack attempts and spam comments.
- generally i've lost interest in creating my own XOOPS sites.

This doesn't have much to do with XOOPS itself, I haven't jumped ship or anything. I've just moved on :) But I will drop into xoops.org every now and again.

If anyone wants any of my themes or modules, please grab them by October 17th. The site will be gone after that.

Awww this sucks, i thought your site was pretty cool. Good thing i got that Net2FTP Module already

I am sorry to here this as well. You have been a great contributer to this project. You surly will be missed!

What will happen to your great themes and mods? Can we ask for permission to mirror them for the community?

I'm sure your themes and modules would be welcome additions to the archive - could you zip them all up and send them to davidl2?

This is a great shame and loss to the XOOPS community, if there is anything I can do to keep the spirit alive, then let me know.

Thanks guys :)

studioc and davidl2 have kindly offered to host my existing themes and/or modules. I'm happy for them to do so, and modify them to make them useable with current and future XOOPS versions as they see fit. If they do so, they will probably be improved in terms of coding :)

Further to above, i'm in discission with someone to take over the domain. I'll keep you all posted.
