Hello!

Thank you for such an awesome free program and these forums!

I have one question about my new XOOPS installation.

How can I change the directory that modules are installed/loaded into?

For example, now modules are loaded into:

www.mydomain.com/module/nameofmodule/article.php?32u89f

how can I change this to just

www.mydomain.com/article.php?32u89f ?

You could do that with modrewrite. Google it. I hope that points you in the right direction but unfortunately I don't understand it!!

Yeah, I found a thing called short URLs, but it's over two years old. I'm thinking that maybe the mod_rewrite is the way to go unless someone else says differently.
