can someone advise if this theme if has ad banner capabilities

every theme can handle banner, just insert

i modified the colors and a few other things on a montisarts theme for my own site. and decided to release it here in case anyone liked it.

i had completely forgotten that i'd taken the banner tags out which a lot of people use. but yeah, like kurak_bu said, you can open theme.html in your favorite editor and add the tag back in there wherever you want.
