Ok, now I know the problem. You must change the max file size in the config section of myalbum. It is in bytes. Once I increased the max size to over my picture size it worked fine. Also, double check the max picture size too in the config. Those are both real important areas.

I did check the max picture size, and i am well under the specs, it set at 1 meg and 1024x1024, the file i have been testing is 384 bytes and 600x400, I am uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that helps at this point,

My jpeg is (342,106 bytes), I set it for 400,000 in the admin. Its 1024x682 dimentions.


After I increased the max setting in the admin, this pic loaded fine.

Ok, i am able to get pictures in now, but, after the picture is submited it goes to a blank screen, if i hit back i can see the picture was uploaded, and when I go to the
Check Configuration & Environment tab it says 2 (the same number of pictures i've uploaded) it says 2 thumbnails need to be rebuilt, i click the options i want and click rebuild thumbnails then it goes to a screen where it says checking 1 jpg and thats it... any one have any ideas?

now what I am discovering is that pictures are not getting loaded in to the uploads/photos, all i get after clicking submit is a blank page, and i have debugging mode on and there are no errors, if i hit back, i can see that an image has been added to the category, but it isn't there in the uploads/photos/ in the server.

I don't know what to tell you. I just installed on 3 sites in minutes. Did you make sure to chmod that image file?

Oh, also did you go to xoops/prefrenences/general settings and make sure you checked check templates for modifications?

I believe I have narrowed it down to this message "Pipe for images: GD
Check that 'GD2'is working correctly under your GD bundled with PHP
If the page linked to from here doesn't display correctly, you should not use your GD in truecolor mode." where is GD so i can change the settings?
