I have a site with a lot of items in it that acts as a brochure. The site is nearly finished but the customer had decided that he would like to edit content when things change at his end.

How simple would it be to change the site to XOOPS so that the customer could edit certain parts, but be forbidden to go to layout pages and important stuff like that?

I have never used content management software, and I do not know how it works or what the limitations are.
