I'm an absolute beginner, and I've been working with XOOPS for a few days now.
I found quite easy to understand the logic of modules, and in fact i've already decided which ones i'll put in my site.
This as long as forum, news, download, calendar are concerned.

I've problems with static contents.

How can I put text and images on the home page, in a static way (let's take the first centre block of XOOPS website as an example)?

Xoops website menu on the left has a "All about xoops" item pointing to the wfchannel module, and it opens a text page with links. I really couldn't manage doing this.

I've tried various static page modules but I've not found an answer yet.

TIA
Antonello
