Need to display code for mulitple devs working on module?

We are in need of a way to display and change php code so multiple people can work on it.

Any ideas?

Do you have a server, accessible to all the developers, that can host an SVN repository?

Well until cPanel decides to ACTUALLY support apache2, we are staying with 1.x

but, hey PHP5.2.3 ftw.

(btw: I went from PHP4.x to PHP5 without a hitch on my XOOPS installs.)

I didn't say that it was apache 2 only. It looks like it will run on apache 1 as well.

Now can we run this on our server is the question?

just upload to server then open putty. DO NOT UPLOAD TO ANYWHERE BUT /

cd /svn (location of svnroot)

then

./configure

This will tell you if it will run. Basically it will check that all of its dependencies are satisfied.

If you really want this, I will look into getting it up for you. However I need to do a full system backup first.

All in all it looks pretty straight forward.

OH,

Quote:

PHP 4 end of life announcement
[13-Jul-2007]

Today it is exactly three years ago since PHP 5 has been released. In those three years it has seen many improvements over PHP 4. PHP 5 is fast, stable & production-ready and as PHP 6 is on the way, PHP 4 will be discontinued.

The PHP development team hereby announces that support for PHP 4 will continue until the end of this year only. After 2007-12-31 there will be no more releases of PHP 4.4. We will continue to make critical security fixes available on a case-by-case basis until 2008-08-08. Please use the rest of this year to make your application suitable to run on PHP 5.
