Birthdays in XM-memberstats

We are using XM-member stats on our page - but we would like to ad a brithday function så if someone has a birthdag it will be shown on the front page. Is this possible eiter with this module or another ?

We are running XOOPS 2.00.16

I have never heard of this feature with the module you refer to. On my site I use extcal and put the upcoming events block on the front page. Not the perfect solution, though better than nothing. Members have to add their birthdays themselves.

I think a "happy birthday" feature tied into the members function would be very welcomed.

Yep, there was a hack for the xm memberstats module made by m0nty and included in the comments for the profile and photo hack. However, the link is dead and I think he doesn't have the hack anymore. Also, it required the user to enter a birthday on a calendar when registering and that appears not to work smoothly on version 3.0.16 and up, at least that is my experience. I am now using the birthday module that requires the user to separately enter his/her birthday and it will be shown in a block on the actual date. birthday module

Hi,

there exists a slightly enhanced German version 1.03 of the Birthday module. It has an additional php-file to show a birthday list.

Unfortunately the DL address where I've got it from doesn't exist anymore. If interested, I'd try to contact the German programmer who had released this version.

AFAIK, there are some parts hardcoded so I'd have to rechange this into English and/or add a readme.
