Site Migration to PHP5 issues or protector?

Hello, I have just had my hosting provider migrate my site to a different server and plan. They have made the necessary PHP4 to PHP5 adjustments etc. Now we get a white page with the following.

DB connection failed, or wrong XOOPS_DB_PREFIX in mainfile.php, or broken config table, or broken Protector installation.

Now I realise there are three issues there, the one that at the moment concerns me is the Protector module reference.

I use an older version of protector (version 2.57 I think) now I have probaby made a big blunder, can someone shed any light on how I can at least fix the protector reference. I didn't change the tables name it is still xoops_

I have no access to the admin pages, would it be a matter of uploading the original mainfile without the Protector adjustments, I hope someone gets what I mean lol.

Cheers....Darin ;o)

Xoops 2.0.16
PHP 5.2.1
MYSQL 4.1.22-standard-log

The actual prefix in your database tables have been changed. Look at the database settings in mainfile.php and you will see an entry for prefix. Edit that to your new prefix and you should be in business.
