I can't figure out where to set the order of forum posts to be descending by date so the most recent are first.

Version I'm using is 3.08 (unless it's been updated again).

As to sorting, the default is date descending (most recent first). You can change this while viewing the forum by clicking on the column headings (date, topics, replies, etc.) If you want ascending, click on it again. As to how you might hold a preference like this that might have to be made as an enhancement by getting into the code and either changing an existing configuration field or adding one.

Have you tried asking on the developer site?
