Hi all,

When I upload the new framework 1.10 I see that I can't see topic in cbb 3.05.

1)After that I upload the xoopseditor 1.10 in xoops.org/class of my site but I can't see the topic.
2)After that I upload the xoopseditor 1.10 in xoops.org/Framework/xoops22/class.

-With this operation I can see the topic and with the first I can reply.
-I see that the unlogged user can see the topics but logged user can't see ones.

Bye Maurizio1230 ;)

P.S. How can I update the forum to cbb 3.08?

The Framework folder should be uploaded to the root of your website.
The xoopseditor folder should be uploaded to ../class/
Xoopseditor is a collection of different editors, some are fully wysiwyg others use bbcode.

After backing up your database and the folder containing cbb 3.05, just overwrite all files in the folder with ones from cbb 3.08.
After this you shoulde update your cbb module from the module administration.

The editors are for writing forum posts, and can also be used in other modules for writing articles.
Normally CBB will use the standard (DHTML) editor of Xoops.
There should be an option, I think it's in the preferences, that let you choose what editor to use.

when i update the cbb module in admin i recived this error:

Quote:
Got error 134 from storage engine

I'd like to use only FCK WYSIWYG editor in cbb forum. Is it possible?
What is the manager that I see in extended dhtml form in cbb?

I am looking to update from 2.2 to 3.08 and I dont have a frameworks or editor area like you talk about. Is this new in later versions?

How exactly do I update and where is the database at from my 2.2 install? I dont want to loose all my posts and forum structure if I copy the new dir over the one I now have in /modules

Frameworks and xoopseditors are separately extensions for the XOOPS core, CBB 3 requires they be added to your site.

I have successfully migrated from newbb2 to cbb. Checking through the various readme files, there were no conversion scripts or upgrade scripts to go from newbb2 to cbb.

Backup you database first, especially the newbb file (prefix_bb_). You might want to try on a local install first.
