Is it possible to move the module blocks out of the XOOPS environment and put them on my homepage which is a different url. I want to put the weather block and x_movie random movie blocks on my homepage. Here's the problem, I can move the block to my homepage but they do not function there. The weather stays at the same date and the x_movie block does not show random movies when I refresh the page. My homepage is on the same server as my xoops. I'm sure the blocks need to be in the XOOPS tree in order to function but I was hoping for a way to make this work. Please help. Thanks.

What you want is on top of my wishlist for a long time... I use rss in blocks for mirroring headlines but the option of mirroring blocks in another (xoops) site would be great!

Hi

This:

Quote:
- Possibility to insert spotlights wherever you want
If you like Mastop Go2 and its flexibility you still can add spotlights in any part of the site: Inside Mastop Publish, news, articles or even in the header of your theme.
At the index page at Mastop Go2 is a code generator that allows your spotlights to be in any addresses with no need to use the module or even xoops. The code generator is very useful to help promote your site.

is from the Mastop Go2 description here:

I do not use this module, so can't give you more information, but may be what you are looking for ...

It's a nice module but only for making spotlights. It has nothing to do with sharing block content with other sites.

What about Instant Zero's Boox module? As I understand it (I have never used it myself) it created HTML files from blocks, so you can use them on other sites.

With boox you only can only make standard like blocks. It's not possible to incorporate module blocks.

I'm not sure if this mastop is what I'm looking for. I need a working module block on my homepage which is not in the XOOPS htdocs, my home page is in my apache htdocs. I want a working weather module block and a working x_movie random video block on my homepage. I don't think mastop does this.
