I really like the fact that forum posts can be made into PDF files.

I would need to be able to manage the format for it to be useful. I do not find it under preferences under the "forum" - so my question is where it is located.

When I make a PDF if posts a pic in the upper right hand corner called "forum". That I would like ot change.

Also I would like to change some of the other information that is automatically inserted.

Cheers and thx in advance

Deram

I think my question fits into the same topic.

What mechanism does this forum (at xoops.org) use for making PDFs?

(I've tried TCPDF, the apparent successor to FPDF, but it has some issues. One of the problems is that the PDFs it makes are images, which precludes the ability to search for text within the PDF. The PDF feature used at xoops.org does not seem to have this limitation.)

I hope someone has some knowledge about the PDF functionality.

Afterall it is in many versions of XOOPS so someone should know what is going on I assume?

Hoping that someone can help.

Edit \modules\newbb\fpdf\language\english.php
$pdf_config['logo'] = array(

'path'=>'images/xoopsbb_slogo.png',

'left'=>150,

'top'=>5,

'width'=>0,

'height'=>0

);

Hopefully that is not the only code in that file. Because if it is I see no code to change the "forum" pic in the PDF or the "author" or "time" etc.

Is that all the code in the file you refer to (English.php)?

To be specific: Where can I change the layout of the PDF?

It says "author", "time" etc.

Where can I change some of those fields and choose to have them or not have them?

In case anyone's interested, I upgraded TCPDF from version 1.53.0.TC024 (2006-09-26) to 1.53.0.TC031 (2007-03-20), and that fixed the problem.

Sorry for reply so late. Have you fixed the problem?
