For some reason i can't mask my working directorys from xoops. when ever it loads up the url http://www.domain.tdl it then adds the working folders /xoops/htdocs/<> . I want it to hide the working folders, or at least only show a very small part of it. How can this be achieved? I also have am using apache's vhosts.conf to do the ip -> website, translation so if apache can do it that would be fine too.

So in summery, goal is to hide everything from htdocs back. (http://www.domain.tdl/) is the real goal.

What is the folder structure on your domain? Is it http://www.domain.tdl/xoops/htdocs?

If it is, you should move everything from htdocs down to the root directory

If you control the server, you may be able to redirect using the htaccess or apache conf file - you can change the DocumentRoot or create a VirtualHost (I don't know all that much about it, I just got it working for one intallation!)
