I want to give another user on my website webmaster and moderator status. I go to the system prefrences, edit user, select the user i wish to change, hit go, make the changes and press submit , and it comes back with, ERROR, and below that none. It offers nothing in the sense of what happened, or didn't happen. im using the latest 2.0.16. Only changes i'v ever made to this site were re-editing the working url/working path from a different domain to another domain to make it uniform.

For some reason i can't mask my working directorys from xoops. when ever it loads up the url www.domain.tdl it then adds the working folders /xoops/htdocs/<> . I want it to hide the working folders, or at least only show a very small part of it. How can this be achieved? I also have am using apache's vhosts.conf to do the ip -> website, translation so if apache can do it that would be fine too.

So in summery, goal is to hide everything from htdocs back. (www.domain.tdl/<module in use here>) is the real goal.

When i first created my site i had a few people register, but since i applied the "hot fix" the server refuses to let us register ne body else, i get a generic error message that doesn't tell me ne thing?!? All it says after you press "finish" is "Could not register new user." thats it. It doesn't tell me a email could be send, or the db is broken it just says could not register new user...if anybody else has seen this and knows WHY its being like that, i would love a fix. Thanx

I was wonder if it be possable, to have a extra menu under the "main menu". I wanna add a page that will load up with the theme and give me a display of the users , the status of those users, and all the other information the good TeamSpeak Blocks do. I don't wanna just add it to the middle of all the pages (bc i could of done that) if theres nobody willing to spend the time to create it , i will if given direction on HOW to start and how i add the link to the main menu on the left.

i had a fancy flashMX logo built for my site and i went into the theme.html in the default theme folder */html/themes/default/ and everytime i change the line

to logo.swf it still loads the logo.gif. I can't understand why the changes i make in the defalt applyed theme doesn't effect the outcome of the loading pages. even if i remove huge parts of the code it doesn't seem to care it must have a backup of these files some where that i must edit??
