Hi,

I just setup my site using Xoop. But when I try using the register as a new user I'll get this message "Sorry, you don't have permission to access this area" where do you set up to allow new user to register. I tried so to set accept new registration in preference but it still doesn't work. Please someone help me. thanks!

I guess that you have to give permissions to normal members at the first page module (at least).

There is a setting "allow new user registration?" somewhere in the admin => system => preferences area (maybe under user info). That might be it.
